U.S. cryptocurrency trading platform Bittrex has just teamed up with crypto and custody service provider Rain Management WLL to launch a digital asset trading platform in the Middle East.
According to the official announcement, which was published yesterday, Rai will provide its staff and expertise in the area whereas Brittrex will take care of the infrastructure and security of the platform.
This new exchange will offer the same tokens currently available at Bittrex and Bittrex International as well as 4 additional pairs in which bitcoin will be traded against 4 local currencies: the Bahraini Dinar, the Kuwaiti Dinar, the UAE Dirham and the Saudi Royal.
According to the official announcement, this is the first fully licensed trading platform in the Middle East. Rain Management WLL voluntarily participated in the sandbox of the Central Bank of Bahrein in February 2019.
Yesterday it was known that Rain had become the first crypto exchange in the Middle East to receive a Crypto-Asset Module license from the Central Bank of Bahrein.
