Samsung, the world's largest smartphone maker, has partnered with crypto startup Pundi X to integrate its digital asset wallet into its Galaxy S10 devices.

According to a post in Medium, Pundi X has integrated its crypto wallet into Samsung's blockchain ecosystem. According to the post:

"Samsung Galaxy S10 users will be able to transfer the cryptos stored in Samsung's blockchain wallet to XWallet and to use them to conduct transactions with Pundi X's global payment ecosystem."

XWallet currently supports bitcoin, ethereum, Binance Coin, KuKoin Shares, NEM , KNC, Qtum, as well as Pundi X's native tokens - NPXS and NPXSXEM.

Ihodl reported in January that Samsung wanted to make its Galaxy S10 devices compatible with crypto wallets. And in May the company also announced that would extend this compatibility to its budget devices.

In April this year the South Korean giant announced it was developing an ethereum-based blockchain it could use to launch its own cryptocurrency.
