Co-owner of a Polish cryptocurrency exchange Bitmarket, Tobiasz Niemiro, was found with a bullet wound to the head in a forest near his home city of Olsztyn, Yahoo! Finance reports.

Previously iHodl reported that Bitmarket ceased all trading operations due to the loss of liquidity.

According to Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza, Niemiro had committed suicide. However, at press time there is no evidence of that.

Polish businessman Adam Socha wrote in a blog post, that he had received an email from Niemiro, a few hours before he died.

"The email was long. It seemed like he had found himself in an environment of shady businessmen. He gave names. I will not disclose its content because of the investigation. I forwarded the email to the prosecutor’s office. He also wrote that he would provide certain materials, but he didn’t have time," states Socha.

Earlier iHodl reported that back in June other Polish crypto exchange Coinroom had ceased its operations and disappeared with the users' money as well.
