Co-Founder of Apple Inc., Steve Wozniak, has founded a blockchain-focused company called EFFORCE in Malta, The Malta Independent reports.
Wozniak claims blockchain being more secure than the standard servers, should "improve the way we use energy and lower energy consumption without changing our habits."
"EFFORCE is a unique business model and we can have a great impact on the entrepreneurship," he added.
According to Apple's co-founder, EFFORCE will be an investment methodology, since he has always wanted to invest in Malta.
Back in June, the Prime Minister of Malta, Joseph Muscat, said every rent contract in Malta will be registered with the help of blockchain technology.
Last year, Wozniak became a co-founder of Equi Global, a venture capital fund.
