The XPOS makes it possible for the Verifone X990 to accept such crypto as bitcoin (EXANTE: BTC.EXANTE), ether (ETH), binance coin (BNB), kucoin shares (KCS), kyber network (KNC), NEM (XEM) and NPXS as payment options.

Zac Cheah, Co-Founder and CEO of Pundi X claims their mission of making blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies accessible to everyone "has just taken a huge leap forward" thanks to the partnership with Verifone.

"With our XPOS software in Verifone's POS terminals, consumers will be able to experience safer and more seamless transactions using all major cryptocurrencies," Cheah added.

Last year, Pundi X presented at the XBlockchain Summit, the world’s first blockchain phone, called XPhone.
