American businessman and billionaire-investor Mark Cuban in a recent interview with CNBC has criticized Facebook's stablecoin Libra by calling it "a big mistake."

Back in 2017, Mark Cuban was one of the first billionaires who invested in a crypto venture fund. In addition, an NBA team Sacramento Kings was even mining ether in order to support the charity initiative called MiningForGood.

"I’m not a big fan of what they’re doing there. I think it’s a big mistake," said Cuban.

Cuban pointed out thank in a global perspective there're many countries where there isn’t a lot of rule of law, and, therefore, it [Libra] could be dangerous.

Previously iHodl reported that the President of the United States Donald Trump said he isn't a fan of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value "is highly volatile and based on thin air."

In the meantime, the Head of the Federal Reserve of the U.S. Jerome Powell during his testimony before the U.S. Senate Banking Committee compared bitcoin (EXANTE: BTC.EXANTE) to gold.
