Australia’s largest chain of supermarkets, IGA, has integrated cryptocurrencies as payment option, told Nugget’s News Caleb Yeoh, the Co-Founder of TravelbyBit.

Yeoh claims he had recently collaborated with the IGA X-press Bowen Hills operator to integrate TravelbyBit’s point-of-sale system, which supports such cryptos as bitcoin (EXANTE: BTC.EXANTE), ether (ETH), litecoin (LTC), and binance coin (BNB).

“Regardless of whether I’m buying eggs, milk, fruit, or vegetables, I now have a way to pay for my groceries with cryptocurrency. The same goes for any other cryptocurrency owners shopping at Bowen Hills IGA,” Yeoh said.

Earlier, Target Corporation, which is the eighth-largest retailer in the U.S. announced it would integrate its components into the Hyperledger Grid project framework.
