Polish cryptocurrency exchange Bitmarket has ceased all trading operations due to the loss of liquidity.

Bitmarket was Poland's second largest crypto exchange.

"We regret to inform you that due to the loss of liquidity, since 08/07/2019, Bitmarket.pl/net was forced to cease its operations. We will inform you about further steps," states the announcement.

Meanwhile, a user on Reddit supposed that the exchange last few weeks followed the bankruptcy path since it forced its users to change their passwords (no reason given), users' API keys were changed and some users' withdrawals were halted on the basis of additional KYC requirements.

Earlier iHodl reported that back in June other Polish crypto exchange Coinroom had ceased its operations and disappeared with the users' money as well.
