The world-known industrial designer of Apple's products, Sir Jonathan Paul "Jony" Ive, in an interview with Financial Times has announced he's leaving Apple after more than two decades.

At press time, Apple stocks see a little drop with $199,74 USD (-0,030%), according to NASDAQ.

From now, Sir Jonathan will focus on his own creative business called LoveFrom, with Apple as its first client, FT reports. The transition will begin later this year, with LoveFrom launching fully in 2020.

"While I will not be an [Apple] employee, I will still be very involved — I hope for many, many years to come," he added.

Sir Jonathan has been working at Apple since 1992.

Earlier this year at WWDC 2019, Apple presented its new framework called CryptoKit to perform cryptographic operations securely and efficiently.
