Payment company Square has started to accept bitcoin deposits in its Cash App.

According to several Twitter posts, the app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices, now allows some users to make deposits in bitcoin. So far, the users of the app only could buy, sell and transfer bitcoin to other wallets.

The app started its adventure with bitcoin back in November 2017, right when the crypto market popularity peaked. At that time, the company announced the possibility of buying and selling bitcoin had been activated for some users and that it would made available to all its user base within a few months.

It seems that the company is following the same strategy this time, since, at the moment, the possibility of making deposits in bitcoin is only available to a limited number of users.

The company is being quite active in terms of cryptocurrencies. Square Crypto, the company's new bitcoin division, is also hiring developers to develop specific tools for bitcoin's blockchain.
