American crypto exchange Coinbase Pro has announced the listing of chainlink (LINK) token on its platform, states the official announcement.

The exchange states it will accept deposits for at least 12 hours prior to enabling full trading.

Chainlink is an ERC-20-based token that powers the chainlink decentralized oracle network. The network allows smart contracts on ethereum blockchain to securely connect to external data sources, APIs, and payment systems, notes the announcement.

The exchange will start accepting deposits after 10am PT on June 26, 2019.

Earlier iHodl reported that Coinbase launched its Visa debit card in 6 European countries. The exchange's users in Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland and the Netherlands who have the card, which synchronizes directly with their Coinbase accounts, will be able to access the service.

Last year, Bithumb announced the listing of LINK tokens on its platform.
