Scammers Create Fake Facebook Crypto Sites to Steal Users' Funds

Scammers have been recently creating fake Libra sites to steal users' funds.

Even though the social network's crypto has not yet been launched, the hype around it is continuously growing. The project was officially made public on June 18, when Facebook released calibra.com and unveiled both Libra, its cryptocurrency, and Calibra, its new digital wallet.

Scammers are trying to take advantage of the investors' interest in Facebook's cryptocurrency to steal their funds. To do so, they are creating a series of fraudulent sites with URLs which very similar to the original one (www.calibra.com) in an attempt to mislead investors and steal their funds.

These fake pages offer investors the possibility to participate in the token pre-sale just by investing a certain amount in ethereum or bitcoin.

One of these pages has exactly the same URL as the official site, with the only difference that it includes a grave accent on the i.
