The European subsidiary of Samsung SDS is about to expand its partnerships with various industrial players to facilitate the convergence of its enterprise blockchain platform with other technologies and increase utilization, states Yonhap News Agency.

As it states, the IT corporation has been developing cloud-based blockchain technologies for various use cases including manufacturing, logistics, public sector, finance and health care sectors.

According to the news agency, Samsung's blockchain platform, which is adopted at Incheon International Airport is connected with an air cargo system by OneConnect, a fintech arm of China's Ping An Insurance, "to facilitate the customs process between the two Asian neighbors."

Earlier this year, iHodl reported that Samsung entered into a partnership with crypto-wallet & gaming platform Enjin Coin (ENJ) to bring Keystore features.
