Today, June 17, bitcoin (EXANTE: Bitcoin) price is slightly falling. At press time, the largest crypto by market cap is trading at $9,140.89 (-1.32%).
According to Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat Global Advisors, FOMO will make bitcoin price rise even more once it reaches $10,000.
Ethereum (ETH/USD) has fallen to $269.56 (-2.3%), while XRP (XRP/USD) has increased by 1.68% to 0.42 $.
Alex Kuptsikevich, FxPro analyst, says:
"Bitcoin has grown significantly over the weekend. Yesterday, the BTC/USD pair exceeded the $9,000 mark, reaching shortly afterwards a 13-month high ($9,324).
The price of the largest cryptocurrency skyrocketed by 20% in just one week. BTC's trading volume exceeded $23 billion yesterday, while the bitcoin dominance index reached 57.4%. This indicator had remained below 60% so far this month, reflecting the rising interest of investors in altcoins. The next resistance level is $10,000."
