Indian Government-supported Program Offers Bitcoin and Blockchain Course

Swayam learning platform, which is supported by the country's government, has started to offer a course on cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

The interactive course, known as "Blockchain Architecture Design and Use Cases", will last 12 weeks and will deal with topics such as bitcoin and its real use cases.

Students will not have to pay anything to take the course, since it is offered to all students for free.

The course will be taught between July 29 and October 18. Participants wishing to obtain a certificate to proof they have successfully completed the course will have the chance to take an exam on November 17. The test is optional and students will have to pay a $14 fee to take it.

According to the Swayam learning platform, "all courses are interactive, have been prepared by the best teachers in the country and are available for free to any student... Over 1,000 specially selected teachers from all over the country have participated in the preparation of these courses."
