Crypto-focused digital ecosystem Bakkt, which is a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, has announced it will accept a limited number of users for testing its bitcoin futures listed and traded at ICE Futures U.S. and cleared at ICE Clear U.S.

Bakt COO, Adam White, says the launch of testing period will usher in a new standard for accessing crypto markets.

"That’s our mission — to support the development of trusted infrastructure for securely transacting in the new market for digital assets," White added.

In addition to that, White claims Bakkt will also bring all the other features that "institutions would expect."

Previously Bakkt announced it will offer one-day, physically delivered futures, the trading screen product name of the contracts will be "Bakkt BTC (USD) Daily Future," each contract will match 1 Bitcoin in size and many other key features of the upcoming bitcoin futures.
