Peer to peer bitcoin marketplace Paxful is expanding its services thanks to a new partnership with AirTM, a peer to peer blockchain exchange and digital wallet, states the press release that was shared with iHodl.
AirTM is an e-wallet connected to over 300 bank and e-money systems via a peer-to-peer network and direct bank connections. Users hold their money like dollars or cryptocurrency and can send and receive funds domestically and internationally.
As a result of this partnership, traders will reportedly get a tool now buy and sell bitcoin with AirTM as the chosen payment method functioning in a similar way to PayPal. This further allows users the option to move interchange their money to and from Bitcoin with more payment methods than ever before, providing AirTM users with access to platforms and exchanges connected to Paxful’s platform, such as Bitmart, notes the announcement.
Ruben Galindo, AirTM CEO says there are many synergies between Airtm and Paxful, and the company is excited to partner with Paxful to offer more possibilities to its users and expand globally.
"As we continue our work in emerging markets, these numbers are sure to rise. We hope to see economic stability for the underrepresented takes flight in Latin America, and want to be the ones paving the way for those freedoms," said Ray Youssef, Co-Founder, and CEO of Paxful.
Back in January, Paxful reported that crypto demand is blooming even regardless of the falling crypto prices — particularly in Africa.
