Blockchain protocol powered by the native cryptocurrency EOS (EOS) in a partnership with Obolus has announced the launch of EOS-based decentralized exchange Switcheo Exchange.

"This launch has allowed Switcheo to be one of the first non-custodial exchanges on the EOS blockchain. We are pleased to reach this milestone together with our partner, Obolus, with whom we share a common vision for a decentralized financial system," notes the announcement.

According to the official announcement, a fully "trustless, fair and transparent platform designed for users to trade on EOS blockchain seamlessly and securely."

Initially, the exchange will support carbonusd (CUSD), effect ai (EFX), everipedia (IQ) and metal pack (MPT). In order to start trading a user only needs to have a Switcheo account.

Earlier, Huobi Group officially announced it would launch the EOS ecosystem-focused exchange in Q1, 2019.
