Cardano Foundation Joins Hong Kong Fintech Association

The Cardano Foundation, responsible for the development of the altcoin ADA, has just announced on its official Twitter account it has partnered with the Hong Kong Fintech Association (FTAHK).

FTAHK is an independent organization based on transparency, accountability and governance.

The Cardano Foundation has said the following:

"Cardano Foundation is proud to announce that they have joined the Fintech Association of Hong Kong as its newest member. FTAHK is an independent, non-profit association representing Hong Kong’s local and global #FinTech community."

As reported on the association's site, this "is organized and run by the community, for the community. It provides them with a unique position to speak on behalf of the fintech community. It is run by a voluntary group of members who care about the future of fintech in Hong Kong, Greater China and Asia. The objective of the association is to support the development of Hong Kong as a leading Fintech center."

Cardano is a project started in 2015 with the aim of changing the design and development of cryptocurrencies. Its main goal is to create a balanced and sustainable ecosystem that responds better to the needs of users and other integrated systems.

The project's token, Cardano (ADA), is currently the 10th largest cryptocurrency by market cap.
