Telegram's TON network is ready for launch in the third quarter of the year, The Block reported yesterday making reference to some documents supposedly received by the project's investors.
According to the magazine, the developers of Telegram Open Network (TON) have reported that the testing process, which has already been successfully completed, has allowed the company to confirm that both its blockchain and its consensus algorithm meet the goal set in the project's white paper.
In mid-April, a limited number of teams of blockchain experts were granted access to the trial version of the Telegram Open Network platform.
In February it was reported that if the release of the main network does not take place before October 31, purchase contracts for Gram tokens will be invalid.
