Corporate messaging platform Slack has just updated its filing for entering the New York Stock Exchange, the CNBC reported yesterday.

Initially, the company was planned to trade under the ticker SK, however, the updated documents show that the company has changed its mind and has chosen WORK as its new ticker.

The company has not shared the reasons behind this decision. Experts believe this ticker perfectly describes how important Slack is for businesses.

Slack will start trading in the New York Stock Exchange on June 20. The company has reported that it will not hold an IPO, but will place shares directly, which will allow existing investors to sell them into the public markets.
