According to a press release, a United Nations initiative has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with non-profit organization W-Foundation to collaborate in the fight against climate change.

Per the agreement signed by both parties, the secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (CMNUCC) will work together with the South Korean organization W-Foundation to fight climate change. Among other measures, the project aims to reward users with cryptos for their efforts to reduce greenhouse gases.

Apparently, the cooperation will mainly focus on the use of the blockchain game and social network HOOXI, which was developed by the W-Foundation.

The app, which is available for both Android and iOS users, encourages its users to adopt measures to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases in exchange for points. At the end of each month, 20% of the best users receive a reward in the app cryptocurrency, the W Green Pay token (WGP).
