The issuer of stablecoins Tether Limited has issued the first fiat-backed USDT tokens on the TRON blockchain.

Sun urged cryptocurrency exchanges and digital wallets to support the initiative. At the moment, Bitfinex, OKEx, Gate.io and Huobi have announced they are ready to support the initiative.
Meanwhile, Sun also announced his intention to reward USDT-TRON’s early holders with 20 million USDT within 100 days.
The awards will be distributed in the form of additional interest payments for converting USDT on Bitcoin or Ethereum blockchains in the USDT of TRC20 standard.
Earlier, Tether and TRON entered a cooperation agreement to issue USDT on TRON's network.
