The Deputy CEO – Enterprise Solutions at EITC, Farid Faraidooni, claims the Dubai blockchain agenda is "an integral strategy for the city’s future."
"We believe this [blockchain adoption] will augment not only the services that government entities provide, but it will also improve all citizens and residents’ smart city experiences as well as their everyday lives," Faraidooni concluded.
It’s expected that du will be providing the Smart Dubai with the Blockchain Platform as a Service, which is a cloud-native blockchain infrastructure that can provide private blockchain networks on Ethereum and Hyperledger fabric frameworks.
