Russia's one of the largest natural gas suppliers, Gazprom, has developed a prototype of a system that will allow concluding contacts on blockchain in automatic mode, said Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller during a meeting with Russia’s Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, Vesti. Finance reports.
According to Miller, the prototype was developed by Gazprombank and includes features of automatization, monitoring, and execution of contracts. The platform also includes automatic arbitration and automatic calculation of payments for gas.
The Chief Executive Officer of Gazprom also notes the system is absolutely open for any parties of the contractual process.
At the same time, Russia also plans to consider a cryptocurrency regulation bill in the spring session of 2019.
