Rating agency Weiss Ratings has rated XRP and EOS as the best crypto projects. The report, entitled "Dark Shadows with a Bright Future", includes 120 cryptocurrencies, each of which has been given a rating based on its technology and practical uses.
XRP has received an "A" grade: according to the agency, it is in the "best position" to compete with the SWIFT system. EOS has also received an "A" grade, competing with Ethereum to become the "backbone of the new Internet."
Bitcoin ranks third in the classification with an "A" grade. The company has taken into account the development of the Lightning Network solution and has recognized the crypto's ability to become a popular means for storing value. Ethereum has received an "A-" grade and Cardano a "B+" thanks to their possibilities regarding smart contracts.
The agency has also separately analyzed the attractiveness of crypto assets in terms of risk. According to Weiss, only EOS, XRP, Bitcoin and BNB deserve a "B-" grade, while none of the cryptocurrencies has received an "A" grade. Weiss Ratings founder Martin Weiss said:
"In spite of the falling prices, our model has shown that the crypto industry has shown significant growth in terms of user transaction volumes, network capacity and security. Therefore, the investors who are willing to take the risk may soon find their opportunity."
