Chicago-based cryptocurrency exchange Seed CX entered into a partnership with a fintech startup — Hydra X, states the official announcement.
Hydra X is a Singapore-based fintech startup that provides the use of blockchain technologies and mission-critical trading solutions for digital and traditional asset financial marketplaces.
According to the announcement, the main goal of the partnership is to integrate Seed CX as one of the trading venues available on Sigma, an advanced multi-asset and multi-venue trading platform by Hydra X.
The Head of Co-Founder of Seed CX, Edward Woodford, says Seed CX aims to be the preeminent exchange for institutions that wish to trade in digital assets, and connecting to platforms like Sigma is part of that.
"In a short period of time, Hydra X has demonstrated real technological leadership, and we’re very excited for Hydra X customers to connect to Seed CX," he added.
Earlier, in January, Seed CX announced the launch of spot trading for institutional investors. Spot trading is the purchase or sale of a foreign currency (or, in this case, a cryptocurrency), a financial instrument or a commodity for instant delivery.
