Cryptopia, the New Zealand-based crypto exchange that suspended all its services in January this year after suffering significant losses as a result of a hackers attack, has just reopened the possibility of trading with 40 crypto pairs after checking their security.

According to the announcement, shared on March 18 through the official Twitter account of the exchange, "we have resumed trading with 40 pairs after verifying that they are safe. We will continue to expand the list of available pairs when the security of the tokens can be guaranteed". This means the exchange plans to progressively launch more pairs after their security is fully verified.

The announcement comes shortly after the company announced its plans to relaunch its trading platform by the end of March after losing around $16 million in a hackers attack in mid-January.

The exchange plans to be fully operational by the end of March and has informed that the users who lost their funds as a result of the attack will be able to ask for a refund.
