American multinational financial services corporation, Visa Inc., has published a vacancy, according to which, the corporation is building up a crypto-focused product.
The global payments provider is looking for a Technical Product Manager, who will have responsibility for executing Visa’s product strategy within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Among responsibilities, Visa highlights the necessity of significant functional knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and players involved, including in-depth knowledge around permissionless blockchain technology as well as a deep understanding of existing retail payment solutions.
Last year, the Head of Visa, All Kelly, said in an interview with CNBC, that cryptocurrencies certainly aren’t a challenge to Visa "in the short to medium term."
