The Estonia-based crypto exchange DX Exchange has just announced the launch of its own security token and the possibility of adding this type of assets to the platform.
Starting today, the users of the platform will be able to buy security tokens directly from the exchange with both digital currencies and fiat money such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether or XRP.
It should be noted that this new functionality will only be available to institutional and accredited investors.
The platform token, known as In Good We Trust (IGWT), will allow the exchange to show how this new service works as well as to raise funds.
18 million tokens will be sold during the private sale of the token, and 10% of the profits will be distributed among the token hodlers.
Although the exchange was launched last year, it has already gained popularity in the industry. It uses Nasdaq Matching Engine (Nasdaq) technology.
The platform announced in January it would offer investors the possibility to invest in stocks through cryptocurrencies.
