The largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, has announced support for stellar (XML) cryptocurrency on its Pro version — Coinbase Pro, the official announcement on Medium states.

Once sufficient supply of XLM is established on the platform, trading on the XLM/USD, XLM/EUR, and XLM/BTC order books will reportedly start in phases.

"Support for XLM will be immediately available in Coinbase’s supported jurisdictions, with the exception of New York State. Additional jurisdictions may be added at a later date," notes Coinbase.

However, XLM is not yet available on Coinbase.com or via its consumer mobile apps.

At press time, XLM is trading at $0.10 (+2.18).

Earlier, in February, Coinbase listed the third digital asset by market cap, ripple (XRP), on Coinbase Pro.
