Binance-backed cryptocurrency wallet Trust Wallet has announced the listing of ripple (XRP) to its list of supported assets, the official blog reports.

According to the announcement, users cannot send XRP to other addresses.

"To fund a new address, you must send enough XRP to meet the reserve requirement. The current minimum reserve requirement is 20 XRP," notes the announcement.

Moreover, Trust Wallet users can purchase XRP, BTC, BCH, LTC and ETH with major credit and debit cards through its integration with payment processing company Simplex.

Founder of Trust Wallet, Viktor Radchenko, says adding credit card payments is one piece to furthering cryptocurrency adoption.

Earlier, Trust Wallet announced some major upgrades, according to which, the mobile wallet will soon be supported by a desktop version.
