Changpeng Zhao, CEO of the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has suggested in a tweet posted in his official account on March 9 that the company could be launching a new exchange in Argentina.
Guess where we will have a new fiat-to-crypto exchange?😎 https://t.co/li8NAUBMUw

In a reply to a publication made by the crypto news magazine CoinSpice that reported that the Argentinian government and Binance Labs had reached an investment agreement for blockchain projects, CZ literally wrote: "Guess where we will have a new fiat-to-crypto exchange?"
According to this tweet, Binance is considering the possibility to establish a fiat-to-crypto exchange in the Latin American country.
Why it is important
- Binance had recently announced it planned to launch fiat-to-crypto exchanges in eight countries. However, in a report released in January, the representatives of the exchange only confirmed 2 of the locations: Singapore and Malta.
- Binance also announced in January it had entered a collaboration agreement with Simplex, a payment processor, in order to allow its users to buy crypto with credit and debit cards.
