A high-throughput public blockchain platform, Zilliqa (ZIL), has entered into a partnership with King’s College London’s student-run society, KCL Blockchain, to launch a new blockchain education initiative, Blockchain A-Z, notes the press-release, which was shared with iHodl.

The workshops reportedly will bring together students from interdisciplinary backgrounds, ranging from engineering, business management, and law to consolidate both the business and technological aspects of blockchain tech, its potential, and its application.

The founder of Zilliqa, Xinshu Dong, says with Zilliqa’s roots in academic research, Blockchain A-Z enables not only give back to academia but to also engage with the next-generation of talent and equip them with the necessary knowledge.

"We are thrilled to kick off Zilliqa’s A-Z series with King’s College London, as a world-leading university and one of the oldest in the UK, it is inspiring to see the students, staff, and alumni embrace this emerging technology at such a pivotal time for the industry,” he added.

Earlier, Zilliqa announced the launch of its own mainnet, enabling "innovative blockchain-powered solutions to real-world problems."
