The largest blockchain-focused ecosystem in Korea, ICON (ICX), has announced its sponsorship with Deblock, Inc., a Japanese company, which is specialized in technology-driven consultation and fundraising for Japanese companies, states the official press-release, which was shared with iHodl.
Alongside the new sponsorship, ICON wants to foster promising dApp projects in Japan.
According to the press-release, Deblock will operate a Tokyo Launchpad of ICX Station.
The Council Member of the ICON Foundation, J.H. Kim, says the company expects this sponsorship to help ICON strengthen its position in the Japanese market.
Earlier, ICON achieved Advanced Technology Partner status in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN).
