Opera Launches iOS Version of its Browser With Integrated Crypto Wallet

The web browser Opera has just announced it will soon launch its Opera Touch browser for iOS, the company announced in a press release published yesterday.

The Norwegian company will launch its Opera Touch browser, which integrates a crypto wallet as well as support for ethereum and decentralized applications (dApps).

The Android version of the browser was released in December 2018. Now it has decided to extend its support to iOS users due to its huge success.

It is still unknown when the Opera Touch for iOS users will be launched, however, according to the official announcement, users can sign up to test the app through its site.

  • The Android version of the browser was launched in July last year with the aim of offering users an integrated and easy-to-use crypto wallet.
  • The company reported in August about its intention to include a crypto wallet in the desktop version of its web browser.
