ICON May Hold IPO in 2020

Finance Magnates reports the South Korean blockchain-focused company ICONLOOP may file for an initial public offering at the Korean stock exchange KOSDAQ.

As it states, ICONLOOP has hired Mirae Asset Daewoo, a stock brokerage and investment banking, in order to proceed with the filing process. According to Finance Magnates, ICONLOOP may go public by as early as next year.

At press time, ICON Team has not yet officially commented on the situation to iHodl.

UPDATE: Commenting on the possible IPO, ICONLOOP CEO Jonghyup Kim, told iHodl that the news is "not true at all" and that the firm does not currently have any plan to launch an IPO.

Earlier this month, ICON achieved Advanced Technology Partner status in the Amazon Web Services Partner Network.
