Sirin Labs — behind Finney, the world’s first blockchain-based smartphone — has teamed up with the online payments provider Simplex to bridge the gap between blockchain and the mass market.

Finney smartphone was designed with a built-in cold storage wallet for crypto — it was the first of its kind.

And now its users will be able to buy cryptocurrencies with fiat directly from its wallet app: the partnership involves the integration of the Simplex’s escrow service for fiat-to-crypto transactions.

“[...] This integration marks that first step in making crypto more accessible to novice users, as well as simplifies trading for our seasoned crypto community.” — Shared Zvika Landau, Sirin Labs CEO.

Simplex processes credit card payments for some of the largest crypto exchanges, wallets and platforms around the world, ensuring that all transactions are safe and fraud-free.
