China’s "Google-killer," Baidu, has announced the launch of Baidu Blockchain Engine BBE (Baidu Blockchain Engine), which will be based on artificial intelligence (AI), big data and cloud computing.
According to the announcement, the new platform will allow blockchain developers to build decentralized applications (dApps) the same way as they develop "mobile apps" using Baidu’s resources.
As it states, the platform will be an open source project and provide developers with cross-chain and middle-tier frameworks, smart-contacts and other services.
Earlier, crypto project TRON (TRX) and Baidu entered into a partnership on the Baidu basic cloud computing systems development.
