The head of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), has announced on its Twitter account the date for a public test of Binance Chain testnet. According to CZ, testing of Binance Chain will happen on Feb 20, 2019.
Finally got a date. Targeting to release Binance Chain testnet (@binance_dex) for public testing on Feb 20th. This is a testnet, your feedback would be most valuable.

Binance Chain DEX — is a decentralized exchanged, which is based on Binance model. The Binance Coin Exchange (BNB) token will become the main coin of the future Binance Chain blockchain.
The exchange will reportedly allow its customers to make trading pairs without centralized control.
