The Chicago Board Options Exchange’s (CBOE) has changed its mind and resubmitted bitcoin-ETF filing of SolidX Bitcoin Shares issued by the VanEck SolidX Bitcoin Trust for Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), according to a recently published document.
Previously this month, the proposal was withdrawn, as supposed, due to the closure of the US government.
At press time, the newly published proposal has not yet been presented in the Federal Register which means that the SEC still has some time to make a decision.
Earlier, the SEC had to reveal its decision on bitcoin-ETF on February 27, 2019. Whether the deadline remains the same is still unknown.
