BitTorrent crowdsale has raised approximately $7,2 million in 18 minutes due to a system issue, the head of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), wrote in twitter.
As it states, demand was "astronomical," and BitTorrent sold 59,4 billion BTT tokens in under 19 minutes.

CZ also pointed out that another BTT ICO is coming in the near future.
Earlier, one of the most popular p2p communications protocol and platform in the world, BitTorrent announced the issue of its own cryptocurrency, called BitTorrent (BTT) on Binance. The token will be based on TRC-10 architecture and will be exclusively available to non-U.S. accounts on Binance Launchpad.
