Cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp has announced the partnership with one of the leading Swiss online banks, Dukascopy Bank, to enable crypto funding on its platform, according to the official announcement.

As it states, the bank’s clients can now transfer bitcoin (BTC) to their bank accounts and convert it to U.S. dollars, which can be used to trade on the Swiss FX Marketplace. In addition, clients can convert dollars to bitcoins.

"This partnership represents another step towards our goal of bridging the gap between crypto and traditional finance," the announcement states.

Earlier, Bitstamp announced the partnership with Irisium project to track suspicious activity and market manipulations.
