The head of blockchain-based media economy platform Po.et, Jarrod Dicker, has returned to The Washington Post as Vice President of commercial technology and development.
Shailesh Prakash, the CIO of The Washington Post claims Dicker has a passion for the industry, and the company is looking forward to seeing how he re-imagines the ways The Washington Post can use technology to maximize its revenue opportunities.
"With his previous leadership responsibilities, Jarrod will be instrumental in connecting the dots between teams and creating experiences to delight readers, advertisers, and subscribers," Dicker wrote in the official statement.
Dicker will be replaced as CEO of Po.et by David Turner, currently Po.et's head of product.
Earlier, business magazine Forbes announced partnership with Ethereum-based platform Civil to start experimenting with publishing to the Civil blockchain.
