Coinnest, a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, accidentally sent around $5 million in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to its customers due to an error during an airdrop of WGT tokens taking place last week.

The crypto exchange “originally tried to airdrop 30,000 WGT coins, but accidentally entered data to airdrop other coins.”

As a result, some of its users sold the received tokens right away, causing a sharply fall of the price of some cryptocurrencies on the exchange. However, according to Coinnest, the majority of the clients agreed to return the assets.
