Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced the launch of its European platform — Binance Jersey (binance.je), according to the official statement.

The new platform allows to trade in BTC/GBP, ETH/GBP, BTC/EUR and ETH/EUR trading pairs.

However, users will have to verificate their accounts in accordance with the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.

Binance decided to expand its presence in Europe in order to provide investors with "freedom in the context of the uncertainty associated with Brexit."

Previously, Binance had signed a memorandum of understanding with an agency Digital Jersey, that represents Jersey’s digital jurisdiction.

Earlier, Binance announced the launch of stablecoin-based trading pairs for paxos (PAX), TrueUSD (TUSD), and USD Coin (USDC).
