Despite Bitcoin’s falling price in the end of 2018 — and the whole crypto bear market felt last year — the number of new crypto ATMs has continued to grow.
There are currently 4,159 crypto ATMs in 75 countries, according to global data provided by Coinatmradar.com.
North America (US and Canada) counts with the majority — 3197 crypto ATMs or around 76.8 percent of the world’s ATMs. The United States alone have 2493 and Canada 704.
Europe is a distant number two — with Austria leading all European countries with 267 crypto ATMs or 6.4 percent of all in the world. It is followed by the UK and Spain.
And crypto ATMs are also spreading around Latin America and Asia — check the map here.
According to Coinatmradar.com, around six crypto ATMs are installed daily — and there are no signs of slowing down. Most likely the number of crypto ATMs will continue to surge.
