The Ethereum Foundation has announced a $5 million grant to Parity Technologies, according to a post published yesterday on the official Ethereum blog.
The UK-based start-up has been a major contributor to the Ethereum project — and now, with the Foundation’s funding, the company will be able to focus on specific scalability, usability and security issues around it.
“We couldn’t think of a more applicable fit for a grant given Parity’s constant push to raise the technical bar and their pinpointed focus on next generation advancements [...].” — Shared the Ethereum Foundation on the blog post.
According to the Foundation the grant will be provided in several phases — as specific milestones are completed.
