Blockchain software company ConsenSys has entered into the partnership with AMD in order to develop "optimized datacenter solutions for emerging blockchain workloads," the official announcement states.

The project called W3BCLOUD will be focused on providing "the first independent cloud computing blockchain infrastructure, combining increased transaction throughput with state-of-the-art security."

It's planned W3BCLOUD will give optimized app solutions not only for governments but also for commercial enterprises.

Founder of ConsenSys and Co-creator of Ethereum, Joe Lubin, says the partnership "will be of great benefit to the scalable adoption of emerging decentralized systems around the globe."

Earlier, in December, Lubin initiated massive layoffs at ConsenSys in order to "refocus priorities."
