One of the largest electronics manufacturers, Samsung, may soon present its own cryptocurrency wallet, since the corporation is about to get a trademark, according to a filing with the U.K. Intellectual Property Office.

The filing states the upcoming Samsung’s product will be adapted to smartphones, tablet computers, and portable computers. The wallet is using blockchain technology and allows users to transfer cryptocurrency based on blockchain technology and pay via 3rd party’s application software.

The application was filed on December 27.

It’s quite possible the upcoming crypto wallet will be integrated with HTC blockchain smartphone EXODUS 1, which was revealed in October.

Earlier, Samsung-backed blockchain-based startup AERGO fundraised $30 million in its token sale from such big investors as Arrington XRP, FBG, GBIC, and Sequoia. The last one is known for investing in Apple, Google, PayPal, Oracle, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
